So this morning we had a later start, which is nice, especially when its pouring down, and you don't have to be anywhere......at all......... all day.
Except we did! I had booked Yum Cha for 11am in Courtenay Place.....
So off we went, in the rain, and the cold.
Now those of you who have enjoyed Yum Cha before, will know that its always best to be shared amongst friends..... the variety is so that you just can't eat it all yourself!
But today, it was just the husband and me..... We over-ordered.
The food is so good, that when they wave it in your face, even though its the 44th type of pork they have offered, you have to take it! It just looks sssoooooo good! (Incidently, I do wonder how they can make pork have so many different textures and flavours?)
So we ordered way to much, and even though I was in danger of actually exploding.... I was waiting excitedly for the custard buns to arrive. My favourite thing in the WORLD!! EVER!!!
I managed to stuff one in before I had to give up. Luckily, this place lets you take home anything you didn't finish, so I've eaten Chinese breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I think that'll do me till next weekend..... anyone wanna join us??
Ever wondered??

How much hair can you get from a corgi?
We have an amazing gorgeous cute sometimes naughty and hilarious dog, named Martyn. He is genuinely our best friend and we couldn't imagine life without him. What I could imagine life without however, is the bloody hair that he leaves on the furniture, floor, our clothes, the bed, and occasionally, our food. Its INSANE! He is producing the stuff by the floorful, and its driving me MAD!
But there is hope..... today I went to drop off some newspaper to the pet shop, which I do once a week, and took Martyn with me. The staff were very kind to him, gave him a couple of treats and generally fussed over him.
One of them then said casually "Have you seen the Furmanator?"
I quickly thought, hang on, she's not talking about the Arnie movie that we all know and love (read HATE) so replied "No, what is that?"
$120 later, I am the proud owner of a very special dog comb, designed to remove the undercoat ( which is apparently the hair that sheds) and a much less hairy dog. I swear he's gone down a coat size ;)

Red Green or ????
I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person. I hold down a good job, get a good salary, and have a reasonable amount of kudos shown to me in my chosen career. However, while I feel pretty confident in my day to day, most days I find myself obsessing over the unanswerable.
I can literally spend hours and hours trying to answer these riddles, which are generally thrown into conversation by someone else, as a joke. But there must be a little OCD in me somewhere, because I can't let go. Luckily for me, google is my best friend (aside from the husband) and wiki is a distant but friendly relation.
So todays question was "Is a red cabbage classified as a green vegetable?"
I would have said no, but it doesn't make it any less healthy than a green cabbage. Turns out, it is considered a green veg, but with the added value of extra pigment that is Beta-Carotene. So there you go.
